The short version
Every test on this site runs inside your browser. Key presses, microphone audio, and anything shown on your screen are processed locally and never transmitted to us or anyone else. We don't have accounts, we don't set tracking cookies, and we don't sell data — we couldn't; we don't collect it.
Test data
The keyboard tester reads key events only while the page is open and keeps them in page memory. The microphone test and webcam test request access through your browser's standard permission prompt; the audio and video streams exist only in memory on your device, are never recorded to disk or transmitted, and are discarded when you leave the page. The gamepad tester reads controller input locally through the browser's Gamepad API. The dead pixel test displays colors and reads nothing. The screen ruler stores a single calibration number in your browser's local storage — it stays on your device and is removed by the tool's Reset button.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless aggregate analytics (page views and referrers) to understand which tools are useful; this involves no cross-site tracking and no personal profiles.
Advertising
The site currently shows no advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, any advertising will comply with applicable consent requirements, and a consent choice will be presented where required by law.
If you email us, we use your address solely to reply. We don't add you to any list.
Children
The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
